I am giving 3 stars because the company was overall good to work with, affordable, and had such a quick turnaround time. Additionally, 2 out of the 3 people that worked my wedding ...were great. The third, Christian, I would give ZERO stars. And I waited a long time to say anything about it because I wanted to make sure I got all of my pictures and hard drives before making complaints just to be safe. I then asked someone from the company to reach out to me so that I could tell them my experience because I didn't feel comfortable saying everything in a review, but that was months ago and I never heard anything from them about it.
Christian was the main photographer, along with an assistant photographer and a videographer, both of whom were great. The assistant did all of my husband's photos with his groomsmen, there are tons and they are all INCREDIBLE. Christian did the pictures of myself and my bridesmaids, and there are not nearly as many and they are all pretty poor quality- blurry, bad lighting, etc. There was also a gorgeous sunset during our ceremony, but you wouldn't know that from the pictures. The pictures my planner and guests took are better. And for someone who had such an arrogant attitude, I definitely would have expected the pictures to at least back it up.
I spent a lot of time filling out the forms beforehand listing out each family photo I wanted at the wedding. I don't even have a very large family so there weren't that many and I still didn't get them all. My mind was all over the place on the day of, I was not capable of keeping track of that, which I thought was the purpose of providing a list.
We were taking photos outside so all the boys were supposed to be inside the suite so they would not see me, but our 13 year old Latino cousin was sitting out there playing a game. Christian yelled at him to go away saying things like "amigo" and "vamanos", language which he did not use with anybody else. Wildly inappropriate.
When I had my first look with my dad, I had to turn to Christian and ask him if he was going to take pictures. He said he was "giving us a moment"... huh? You mean the moment you are literally being paid to capture?
Then to top it all off, while we were taking photos with our bridal party and family, he was saying things like look excited, you just got married. And then made the comment "oh I guess it doesn't really matter, I heard you guys have already been married for like a year". My husband and I had gotten legally married by ourselves several months before the wedding as something special for the two of us and told NOBODY. This was a secret, and only a few key vendors knew about it because they had to be told that there was no marriage certificate to sign, photograph, etc. And he just blew that up in front of all of our most important people!! Completely unacceptable.
All of these things on their own are bad but I feel like I could have excused some of them if the pictures were at least good. But then on top of all of that to receive subpar pictures is crazy to me. Thank God for the assistant so that at least one of us got really good photos.
